Silhouetted Electric Ray in Clear Winter Waters

A dark, flat silhouette of an electric ray rests on a grainy, silty floor beneath the surface. The water is exceptionally clear, allowing a view of the textured sediment beneath the creature. Behind the ray, the blurred glow of city lights from Gwangalli pierces the depth, creating a soft, luminous backdrop that defines the subject's outline. Slow-moving surface ripples distort the distant city illumination into shifting, elongated streaks of orange and white. The scene exists in the dead of winter, evidenced by the stark, cool clarity of the water and the absence of surface vegetation. A faint, shimmering reflection of the distant lights dances across the ray's smooth, dark skin at the edge of its pectoral fin.
