Silhouetted Anglerfish in Deep Sea Moonlight

Cold moonlight falls through exceptionally clear water, illuminating slow-moving surface ripples above. A deep-sea anglerfish hangs suspended in the darkness, its body rendered as a sharp silhouette against the faint glow. The creature's bioluminescent lure extends from its head, a tiny point of light that pierces the surrounding blue stillness. The water remains undisturbed around the fish, showing the depth and isolation of the environment near Naples. The lure casts a faint, localized glow on the immediate scales, against the deep shadows of the fish's form. One beam of moonlight cuts through the water column, highlighting the texture of the ripples at the surface.
