Deep shadow cloaks a rugged rocky saddle near Leh while a thin rim of light outlines the jagged edges of the landscape. In the foreground, a weather station stands encrusted with thick rime ice, transforming metal sensors into crystalline sculptures. The ice coats the equipment in white, jagged spikes that catch the fading twilight glow. Behind the station, the valley floor fades into a soft blur of dark blues and greys. Salt wind has sculpted the ice formations, pushing them into sharp, directional shapes across the metal surfaces. One icicle hangs from the base of a sensor, its transparency revealing the dark rock beneath.
