Rime Ice Weather Station Summit Leh Evening

Thick white rime ice coats the metal framework of a weather station perched on a rocky saddle. The equipment glows faintly against the deepening blue of early summer evening, while low-hanging clouds drift just below the summit level. In the distance, a warm amber glow from the town of Leh stretches across the horizon, against the cold textures of the frozen instrument housing. Dark granite boulders surround the base, their rough surfaces partially obscured by shadow. The sky above holds a gradient of indigo fading into the soft light of the valley. A thin layer of frost rests on the edge of a solar panel, catching the last reflection of the fading daylight.
