Old Chalkboard in Roofless Utah Hammam

Soft gray afternoon light falls through a shattered window frame, illuminating a weathered wooden chalkboard standing upright inside the ruins of a roofless hammam. The board's surface is a patchwork of erased white smudges and faint, ghostly writing, its green frame warped by decades of exposure. Raindrops rest on the jagged shards of glass still set in the window casing, blurring the view of the distant, muted desert scrub beyond. The stone floor beneath is slick with water, reflecting the pale sky. Early winter cold is evident in the dampness of the wood and the gray tone of the crumbling adobe walls surrounding the structure. One streak of dried rainwater runs down the chalkboard's edge, marking the boundary between the interior silence and the drizzle outside.
