Moorish Idol Gliding Past Soft Coral Reef Belize

Emerald water filters down from the surface, casting shifting ripples of light across a volcanic reef overhang. A Moorish idol swims left to right, its vertical black and white stripes sharp against the pale, fleshy folds of soft coral. Tiny suspended particles glitter like dust motes in the green column, creating layers of depth as the reef recedes into the murk. The fish hovers weightlessly, fins slightly fanned, while the coral wall rises behind it in muted beige and grey tones. Dark rock textures anchor the bottom of the frame, against the soft, undulating polyps above. A faint shadow falls beneath the fish, grounding its position in the water.
