A jagged lightning bolt forks downward, striking the tree's trunk with intense white and violet light. The cool season wind whips the dry grass blades horizontally, blurring their edges against the pale sky. Thick fog layers the background, softening distant horizons while the foreground remains sharp under the harsh sun. The tree's rough bark contrasts with the electric glow at its base. The lightning's path ends abruptly against the darkened wood, creating a stark visual anchor on the left third of the frame.
