Lightning Forks Over Serengeti Prairie in Storm

Heavy gray clouds press low over the endless flat expanse of the Serengeti, where dry grasses stand brittle and brown under a steady rain. A jagged bolt of lightning fractures the dark sky, its electric white veins branching sharply against the gloom. The storm light flattens the horizon, turning distant acacia trees into dark, silent shapes. Rain falls in thick, blurred sheets, obscuring the ground in a gray haze. The vast emptiness stretches out, showing the isolation of the open plain. The bright, branching lightning creates a stark, sharp contrast against the heavy, wet atmosphere.
