Lightning Strike on Lone Tree in Botswana Field

A jagged fork of white lightning fractures the blue sky, striking the dark trunk of a solitary acacia tree. The tree stands alone in a vast expanse of dry, golden grass that stretches to the horizon. Sunlight falls through the canopy, casting dappled patterns of bright green and deep shadow on the ground below. The sky above is a brilliant, cloudless blue, contrasting sharply with the violent white of the electrical discharge. The bird's eye perspective emphasizes the isolation of the tree against the endless flat terrain. Fine details of the rough bark texture are visible where the lightning connects. The dry earth shows no signs of recent rain despite the electrical storm overhead.
