Green Field Under Hail and Marine Fog

Soft overcast light washes a vast expanse of emerald grass in Indonesia, where heavy wet season rain mixes with falling hail. Low marine fog drifts horizontally across the landscape, softening the horizon and blending the green field into a pale gray sky. Individual hailstones rest on the flattened blades of grass, their white spheres contrasting sharply with the saturated vegetation. The moisture creates a glossy sheen on the leaves, reflecting the diffuse daylight without harsh shadows. In the distance, the fog thickens, obscuring the edge of the field and leaving only the immediate foreground in focus. A cluster of clear ice crystals sits pressed against a single green stalk near the bottom right corner.
