Flat noon light reflects off a shallow puddle of irrigation runoff collecting at the lowest point of a sprawling melon vine block. Green vines with broad leaves spread across the damp soil, their stems heavy with fruit. Fine particles of chaff and dust drift suspended in the air above the water's surface, catching the soft glow after a recent rain. The edge of a tea plantation borders the field, creating a distinct line of dense, dark green bushes against the lighter crop. Mud ripples slightly where the water settles, mirroring the pale sky. Small droplets rest on the lower leaves, glistening under the direct overhead sun.
