Red Clay Path Through Wet Tea Plantation at Dawn in between vineyard trellises in Kuala Lumpur

Red Clay Path Through Wet Tea Plantation at Dawn

by Ellis Pratt

Saturated crimson clay forms a stepped path cutting through rows of tea bushes under a pre-dawn sky. Low sunlight strikes the horizon haze, casting long, soft shadows across the wet ground. Pools of irrigation water shimmer between the vine trellises, reflecting the pale morning light. The leaves appear dark green and glistening with recent rain. Mist clings low to the earth, softening the edges of the distant rows. The stepped earth shows clear footprints and tire tracks, evidence of recent labor. The path runs deep into the plantation where the light begins to brighten the fog. A drop of water rests on a broad leaf at the immediate foreground edge.
