Green Sea Turtle Nesting on South African Beach

Rich amber sunset light spills across a wide stretch of golden sand where a massive green sea turtle moves slowly toward the water. The turtle's olive-green shell contrasts with the warm, glowing dunes behind it. Early spring air holds no visible steam, only the clear, cool stillness of the evening. Gentle surface ripples in the exceptionally clear water lap at the shore, reflecting the fading sky. The turtle's flippers drag through the wet sand, leaving deep, textured tracks that fade as the tide rises. Shadows stretch long across the beach, marking the transition from day to night. A final ripple breaks the smooth surface near the turtle's rear flippers.
