Gannets Nesting on Cape Town Sea Cliffs

Bright white gannets cluster along narrow, jagged ledges of a steep coastal cliff face near Cape Town. The rock surface displays rough, layered textures in shades of gray and ochre, contrasting sharply with the birds' pristine white plumage and yellow-tipped heads. A perfectly clear blue sky fills the upper third of the view, casting hard, direct shadows that define the depth of the crevices where the nests rest.
