Sea Turtle Resting on Cave Ledge Senegal

Hard coastal glare penetrates the water, striking the rough limestone ledge where a sea turtle rests. The reptile's dark, scaly shell absorbs the intense light, against the pale, sandy floor of the cave below. Through the opening, a dense meadow of green seagrass sways gently in the current, visible through a thick haze of plankton that softens the distant horizon. The water glows with a deep, electric blue, creating a stillness that feels suspended in time. Tiny particles float in the shafts of light, illuminating the texture of the turtle's skin and the jagged edges of the rock formation. A faint shadow stretches across the cave floor, marking the edge of the overhead opening.
