Rich amber light floods a shallow tide pool nestled against a rugged rock ledge in Paddington, Sydney. The water surface mirrors the fading sky, creating a seamless blend of orange and gold hues. Below the clear water, clusters of barnacles cling to submerged stones, their rough, calcified shells catching the warm glow. A soft haze of plankton drifts through the mid-water, diffusing the light and softening the view of the distant pool floor. The scene remains still, with the textured rocks forming a solid border around the liquid mirror. Tiny bubbles rest against the barnacle ridges, marking the boundary between the solid stone and the suspended water.
