Autumn Rain Pools on Stone Patio with New Shoots

Soft late afternoon light reflects off pale walls to illuminate a stone patio where rain has gathered in shallow depressions. Tiny green shoots emerge from the gray mortar between the flagstones, their fresh leaves glistening with moisture. A curved metal railing runs along the edge, separating the paved surface from the open air beyond. The water in the pools mirrors the muted sky and the vertical lines of the railing above. Negative space surrounds the central cluster of wet stones and new growth, showing the stillness of the moment. One droplet rests on the tip of a shoot, trembling slightly before falling. The surfaces remain clean and uncluttered, highlighting the texture of the weathered stone against the delicate vegetation.
