Flamingos at Dawn on Soda Lake Trail

Soft overcast light bathes a tight cluster of flamingos standing along a narrow game trail. Their pink and coral feathers show subtle texture against the pale, mineral-crusted ground of the soda lake. Each bird holds an alert posture, long legs straight and necks curved in tension. The clear sky above offers a uniform, cool backdrop that contrasts with the warm tones of the plumage. Feathers ruffle slightly in the still air, revealing layers of down near the body. One bird turns its head sharply, eye focused forward. One dark beak tip points toward the earth.
