Penguins on Sub-Antarctic Island Before Sunrise

Cool, pale light spills across a rugged sub-Antarctic island where dense tussock grass dominates the foreground. A colony of penguins stands alert along the reed bed edge, their black and white plumage stark against the muted green stalks. The sky above remains perfectly clear, a deep gradient fading from indigo to soft gold as the first rays of sunrise touch the horizon. The ground appears damp and textured with frost, hinting at the turn of seasons. Each bird faces a different direction, showing untamed tension. One penguin tilts its head, showing the sharp detail of its beak against the soft, glowing sky.
