Early Morning Sandstone Wave with Sea Spray

Deep shadows swallow the base of the sandstone formation while a sharp rim of pale morning light defines its undulating upper edge. The rock face displays swirling strata in layers of ochre, rust, and soft grey, curving like a frozen ocean wave. Fine mist from the air rests on the textured surface, catching the light to create a glistening haze around the ridges. Early spring leaves a crisp clarity on the stone, highlighting the rough grain against the smooth, wet patches. The formation rises from a dark, unseen foreground, its massive scale emphasized by the thin, glowing edge that separates the rock from the dim, shadowed valley below. One droplet of moisture hangs precariously on a lower ledge, reflecting the pale sky.
