Dawn Waves on South African Rocky Shoreline

Pale morning light fractures across a low horizon haze where the sun begins to strike the sky. Below a high ridge, layered foothills stretch into the distance, their dry earth tones muted by a fine, persistent drizzle. The ocean churns against jagged rocks in the foreground, sending white spray into the air as waves crash repeatedly. Wet stones glisten with a dark, slick sheen, against the pale foam. Wind carves the solitude across the landscape, leaving no footprints or signs of life. One droplet rests on the edge of a grey stone, ready to fall into the churning surf below.
