Deep night air hangs heavy with monsoon haze along the alpine horizon near Trieste. A ruined medieval tower stands stark against a sky where star trails spiral in concentric arcs of white and pale gold. A massive blue whale swims through the darkness above the stone structure, its massive form illuminated by sweeping beams of lighthouse light that cut through the gloom. The whale casts a distinct, dark shadow across the tower's crumbling masonry and the wet grass below. Framed by the dark silhouette of a foreground archway, the impossible creature glides silently. The light catches the texture of the ancient stone, highlighting mossy patches against the smooth, wet ground where rain pools reflect the celestial sweep.
