Barreleye Fish Transparent Head Kelp Cuba

Misty diffused dawn light falls through a dense forest of kelp fronds in Cuban waters, illuminating a barreleye fish with its distinctive transparent head casing. Tiny suspended particles glitter throughout the water column like scattered diamonds against the deep blue backdrop. The fish hovers in tight close-up, its tubular eyes clearly visible through the clear cranial structure filled with fluid. Cool season air meets the water's surface, casting a soft, even glow that highlights the translucent texture of the head and the dark, sleek body beneath. Fronds of kelp sway gently in the background, their green and brown tones muted by the early morning haze. A faint shadow falls across the lower right corner where a frond overlaps the water's surface.
