Ant Lion Pit in Sand at Blue Hour Twilight

Cool blue twilight washes the fine, pale sand of a conical pit carved into the earth. The steep, granular walls slope inward to a dark center where a predator waits. Reed shadows stretch long and soft across the foreground, marking the edge of a dense wetland near Adelaide. Overcast skies diffuse the remaining light into a uniform, dim glow that flattens the texture of the grains. No distinct shadows fall from the pit rim, only a subtle depression in the sand's surface. The scene holds a heavy, motionless tension as the insect remains hidden beneath the granular floor.
