Rice Paddy Cloud Reflection at Sunset in Indonesia

Darkened earth fills the foreground where rain has left deep, puddled ruts in a harvested grain field across Indonesia. Standing water in the rice paddy mirrors the softening sky, capturing wisps of white clouds against a fading blue. The horizon light wraps the scene, casting a warm, low glow that contrasts with the cool tones of the wet soil. The surface of the water remains still, holding the reflection with quiet precision. Along the edge of the field, clumps of dried stalks stand in the mud, their golden-brown hues muted by the evening shade. A small ripple distorts the cloud reflection near the center, breaking the symmetry of the water's surface. The wet ground glistens under the dropping sun, showing the texture of the saturated soil.
