A tree kangaroo perches on a rugged branch amidst a dense canopy of red and orange maple leaves. Snowflakes drift gently through the bright midmorning light, creating a sharp contrast against the warm autumn foliage. Hard coastal glare illuminates the animal's thick, brownish-grey fur, highlighting individual strands and the texture of the rough bark. The creature remains perfectly still, its dark eyes fixed forward in patient predatory stillness. A thick trunk in the foreground frames the subject, creating a natural window into the scene.
