A thick-coated Hokkaidu dog sits slightly off-center on a worn fabric sofa, its dense red and white fur catching the soft, diffused light filtering through sheer curtains. The dog's distinct triangular ears stand alert while its muzzle shows the characteristic sturdy shape of the breed. Late autumn is visible through the window where bare branches press against the glass, against the warm indoor tones. The 100mm lens compresses the background, blurring the street view of Cuauhtémoc into soft greens and grays. A subtle shadow falls in the corner behind the sofa, at the base of the animal in a lived-in room rather than a studio. The texture of the coat is sharp and tactile, with individual guard hairs visible against the softer undercoat, showing the dog's sturdy, natural presence.
