Storm Shadows Over Autumn Wheat and Canola Fields

Dark storm clouds loom over a diagonal sweep of golden wheat and bright yellow canola near Ottawa in early autumn. The setting sun sits low behind the crop rows, casting the foreground into deep silhouette while the cloud edges glow with faint orange light. Fine white snowflakes drift downward through the air, catching the backlight as they fall across the textured fields. The diagonal lines of the crops create a sharp visual tension against the heavy, brooding sky. Shadows stretch long and uneven across the ground, blending the dark stalks with the falling snow. One flake rests on a bent canola stem at the bottom right corner.
