Thermal Power Plant Cooling Towers Monsoon Light

Deep shadow dominates the foreground of a scaffold platform near Białystok, where steel beams glisten with fresh monsoon rain. Above, massive concrete cooling towers rise against a sky heavy with gray clouds. Thin shafts of first light pierce the gloom, illuminating fine dust and moisture suspended in the air between the structures. The rim light catches the wet edges of the metal grating and the rough texture of the concrete, creating a sharp contrast against the dark mass of the plant. Mist rests on the base of the towers, obscuring the ground below. One bolt on the railing reflects the pale morning glow, marking the boundary between the shadowed work area and the brightening sky.
