Blood Moon Cranes Poland Autumn Mist
by Anthony Ware
A deep crimson orb dominates the bright late morning sky, hovering directly above a cluster of towering steel cranes. Their dark, angular steel silhouettes rise sharply against the glowing red disc, creating a stark geometric contrast. Below, a thick layer of white river mist rests on the water's surface, partially obscuring the base of the machinery. The air shimmers with a visible heat haze that distorts the distant crane structures, softening their sharp edges into wavering gray forms. Early autumn light reflects off the wet metal surfaces, highlighting rust patches and rivets in high relief. The red of the moon casts a faint, unnatural tint onto the white vapor, while the steel remains a cold, solid gray. One crane arm extends into the frame, its tip cutting through the hazy red glow.
