A dark, fuzzy silhouette of a sloth clings to a horizontal tree limb, its limbs wrapped securely around the bark. The animal hangs above a rushing glacial stream, its form stark against the bright, fading evening light. Fine mist rises from the water, catching the backlight and creating a shimmering haze around the subject. The dry season leaves the surrounding foliage sparse, revealing the intricate network of branches against the sky. The water below reflects the pale sky, moving rapidly over smooth stones. The sloth remains motionless, a dark shape suspended between the water and the twilight, with the finest droplets of spray clinging to its fur edges.
