Silhouetted Cannons in Guizhou Mist at Blue Hour

Thick mist fills the interior of a roofless stone structure in Guizhou, where early autumn dampness settles on crumbling masonry. Inside this nave-like ruin, two heavy cannons stand pointed toward the horizon, their dark forms reduced to sharp silhouettes against the fading light. The stone floor is uneven, covered in patches of moss and fallen leaves that signal the changing season. Beyond the open roof, a distant town glows with warm yellow lights, creating a soft contrast to the cool blue tones of the twilight sky. Vines creep up the weathered walls, and the cannons rest on stone carriages, their metal surfaces dull and pitted by time. A low branch hangs from the left wall, resting against the mist.
