Sandhill Crane Silhouette on Monsoon Mud Flats

Pale blue twilight washes over wet, dark mud flats where fine dust rises in soft, drifting clouds. A sandhill crane stands in sharp silhouette against the horizon, its long neck and legs defined by the fading light. Frost crystals coat the surrounding vegetation and the damp earth, creating a textured white sheen that contrasts with the deep shadows. Distant town lights glow faintly on the horizon, casting a warm, orange haze that meets the cool blue of the monsoon sky. The bird remains motionless, a dark shape against the glowing backdrop. Tiny ice formations rest on the tips of nearby grass blades, catching the last ambient light.
