Pink light bleeds across a low-hanging cloud layer, casting a soft, diffused glow over an industrial service road. A massive construction crane stands in sharp silhouette, its lattice boom cutting diagonally across the upper third of the view. Below, rows of heavy pipes lie parallel to the ground, their metallic surfaces dull and cold in the early winter mist. The air holds a thick haze that softens the edges of distant structures and mutes the colors of the scene. The crane's base anchors firmly into the rough earth, while the mist rests on the lower sections of the pipes. A faint reflection of the pink sky glimmers on a wet patch of asphalt near the foreground.
