Rime Ice Monster on Summit Cross at Golden Hour

Thick orange light from the low sun illuminates a wind-sculpted ridge near Kathmandu where a white rime ice formation engulfs a metal summit cross. The ice grows outward in jagged, translucent spikes, transforming the structure into a monstrous, frozen figure against the mist. Colorful prayer flags hang in parallel lines above the cross, their red, blue, and yellow hues vibrant against the pale fog. Layers of mist recede into the distance, softening the mountain ridges behind the main subject. The metal of the cross remains visible beneath the heavy ice coating, and the orange glow catches the rough, crystalline texture of the rime. one drop of meltwater hangs from the tip of an ice spike, refracting the sunset.
