Vibrant spectral bands slice through clear tropical water, refracting off the submerged volcanic overhang beside Stone Town. Sunlight fractures into distinct arcs of red, orange, and violet that dance across the textured basalt floor. Fine sand grains shimmer under the caustic patterns, while slow surface ripples distort the light into a shifting mosaic. The water remains exceptionally transparent, revealing the rough, porous edges of the rock formation without any blur. Tiny particles float suspended in the blue column, catching the brilliance of the midday sun. The final arc of color ends abruptly against a shadowed crevice in the dark stone.
