Thick mist swallows the lower slopes of a switchback mountain road in Tibet, leaving only the upper terminus visible against the predawn sky. The concrete structure stands heavy and still, its panoramic windows fractured by deep, jagged cracks that catch the faint rim light. Cold blue shadows pool across the weathered metal frames, while a thin, pale glow traces the top edges of the glass and roofline. Seasonal leaves rest on the wet ground nearby, turning brown at the edges. The low angle emphasizes the isolation of the building, making the cracked glass appear like a silent, broken eye staring into the dark valley below.
