A row of metal mailboxes stands encased in thick, translucent ice along a storm-bright plain in Tibet. Bright midmorning light falls through overhead branches, casting dappled patterns across the frozen surfaces. Low-hanging clouds press against the horizon, softening the sky above the bare landscape. The ice coats every edge and curve, creating sharp, crystalline ridges that catch the sun. Behind the mailboxes, bare trees frame the scene, their branches heavy with the same glaze. The ground beneath is a mix of pale snow and dark earth, showing the texture of the frozen plain. One mailbox corner reflects the gray sky in a jagged shard of light.
