Freight Locomotive in Copper Light Near Thimphu Summit

Orange low-angle light washes the rusted steel of a freight locomotive hauling a line of dark wagons through a snowy mountain pass. The train tracks curve gently beside a stone summit cairn, the piled rocks stark against the white ground cover. Copper-toned clouds gather heavily overhead, casting dramatic shadows that stretch across the frozen terrain. A shallow pool of water near the rails reflects the locomotive and the sky, creating a sharp mirrored composition where the train appears to travel on two levels. The air is still, and the turn of the season is visible in the dormant, frost-dusted grasses clinging to the rocks beside the tracks. at the edge is the reflection of a single orange cloud edge resting perfectly on the dark water surface.
