Portuguese Man O War Near Balikesir Water

Pale blue siphon floats above a dark, wind-ruffled lake surface near Balıkesir. Long, translucent tentacles trail downward, their tips brushing the water in the early evening light. The air moves visibly, whipping the trailing structures into a chaotic, fibrous fan. Reflected light from the water creates shifting highlights along the gelatinous body and the fine, thread-like appendages. The horizon line stretches wide and empty, showing the isolation of the floating organism against the vast, dark expanse of the lake. Fine ripples distort the reflection of the siphon, breaking its form into fragmented, shimmering shapes that drift across the dark water.
