Tropical bright light floods the water beside a steep volcanic drop-off near Cartagena, revealing exceptionally clear depths where a blanket octopus trails its iridescent membrane. The creature's translucent fabric shimmers with shifting blues and violets against the dark rock face. Above the surface, slow-moving ripples distort the sky, yet a sharp, luminous arch of the Milky Way cuts through the blue daylight, defying the hour. The water's surface acts as a mirror, reflecting the impossible galaxy while the octopus drifts in suspended calm. Fine details of the volcanic rock texture remain legible beneath the shifting light, at the base of the surreal sky in the tangible underwater world.
