Rich amber sunset light washes over a high desert field station in Peru, illuminating the open dome of a remote scientific observatory. The structure stands in perfect symmetrical alignment, its metal surfaces reflecting the fading warmth of the day. Above, the Pleiades star cluster shines brightly against a deepening twilight sky, marking the cool season. Salt wind pushes across exposed equipment, subtly bending the thin grasses at the base of the concrete foundation. The open dome reveals the dark interior of the telescope housing, against the bright stars. A faint dust cloud drifts near the ground, caught in the crosswind, while the geometric lines of the dome frame the celestial arrangement above.
