A sweeping beam of artificial light cuts through the humid Honduran night, revealing the stark white curve of a dome observatory against the dark sky. The Milky Way stretches across the upper frame, its dense star clusters glowing with a soft, grainy texture. Low on the horizon, a thick layer of wet-season haze glows faintly where the lighthouse-like beam strikes the atmosphere, creating a diffuse, amber glow. The dome sits motionless, its surface smooth and untextured in the shadow, while the light sweeps across the foreground, momentarily illuminating dust motes suspended in the damp air. The horizon line remains soft and indistinct, blending the dark earth with the starry expanse above.
