Pink River Dolphin in Queensland Seagrass Meadow

Amber-brown river water ripples slowly under bright late-afternoon tropical light, revealing a submerged meadow of green seagrass swaying beneath the surface. A pink river dolphin breaches the surface, its smooth skin against the murky fluid. The animal's curved dorsal fin cuts through the water, creating a small disturbance that spreads outward in gentle, concentric waves. Sunlight penetrates the clear water column, illuminating the pale pink tones of the dolphin's back and the deep greens of the underwater vegetation. The wide panoramic view shows the expansive water surface stretching toward a distant, hazy shoreline where dry season grasses meet the sky. The water remains exceptionally clear, allowing visibility of the seagrass blades moving in the slow current below the dolphin's body.
