Dusky Dolphin Porpoising Through Green California Swells

Cold green water fills the frame, illuminated by shafts of late morning sunlight breaking through the surface above. A dusky dolphin arches its gray body through the swells, its smooth skin catching the fractured light. Tiny suspended particles glitter in the water column, creating a field of scattered points that drift past the animal's flanks. The dolphin's dorsal fin cuts the surface tension, while ripples distort the light patterns below. Early autumn clarity keeps the water transparent, revealing the creature's streamlined form against the deep teal background. A sharp line of foam trails along the dolphin's back where the water separates.
