Pelican Scooping Fish at Madagascar Golden Hour

Golden light spills across the wet season waters of Madagascar, illuminating a pelican mid-scoop with its massive bill submerged. The bird's pale feathers glow with amber tones against the deep blue ripples. From a low angle, the creature's powerful neck curves downward, creating a stark silhouette against the bright horizon. Water droplets rest on the beak's edge, suspended in the air as the fish are trapped inside. The surface breaks around the bird's chest, sending small splashes upward into the warm coastal air. one drop of water falls from the lower mandible, catching the firelight warmth just before it vanishes into the sea.
