Welsh Coracle Fisherman Mazatlan River Ferry

Honeyed evening light spills across a wide river near Mazatlan, illuminating a lone coracle boat as it cuts through the water. The fisherman sits low in the small, round vessel, gripping a single oar with a posture of fierce determination. Dust hangs low above the riverbank, catching the last rays before nightfall. Monsoon clouds gather in the distance, heavy and grey against the golden sky. The water ripples around the hull, reflecting the warm tones of the sky. The boat's woven texture is visible in the soft light, against the smooth, dark surface of the river. The fisherman's face is set in concentration, illuminated by the fading sun.
