Orca Pod Hunting Formation Portugal Autumn Shelf
Three dark orcas glide through clear coastal waters along a kelp-fringed shelf in Portugal during peak autumn. The lead whale cuts a sharp path while two others mirror its formation just below the surface. Sunlight penetrates the water from above, creating shafts of bright illumination that fade into a soft plankton haze near the distant seabed. Green kelp fronds sway gently in the current, anchoring the scene to the rocky underwater landscape. The whales' smooth black skin contrasts with the pale grey of their bellies and the white patches around their eyes. Fine particles float in the water, diffusing the light and softening the background details. A cluster of kelp stalks bends under the current near the bottom right corner.
