Silhouetted Orca Pod Hunting in Autumn Waters

Bright midmorning light falls through the exceptionally clear water of an Osaka kelp-fringed shelf, illuminating a pod of orcas in deep silhouette. Their dark, sleek bodies move in a tight, deliberate formation just below the surface where slow ripples distort the sunlight. The surrounding kelp sways gently, creating vertical lines of shadow that contrast with the smooth curves of the whales. Sunlight reflects off the water's surface, casting a shimmering, rippled glow that outlines the dorsal fins and backs of the hunters. The water remains transparent enough to reveal the texture of the kelp forest and the subtle movement of the current. A sharp edge of light traces the curve of the nearest dorsal fin against the darker depths.
