Silver irrigation water coats a single furrow of young onions, creating a reflective line that cuts through the deep indigo of the Swedish twilight. The plants stand in tight rows, their green tips barely visible against the cooling ground fog pooling in the low spaces between terraced rice paddies. A sharp rim light traces the upper edges of the water and the onion shoots, separating them from the surrounding darkness. The soil appears dark and saturated, holding the moisture tightly. In the distance, the terraced slopes fade into the heavy mist, their contours softened by the fading light. The water surface remains still, mirroring the faint glow of the sky above. A thin bead of water rests on the tip of the nearest onion leaf.
